What we collect, plainly.
The same register as the rest of the site: state what is so, no more words than the facts need.
What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, phone number, suburb, whatever you tell us about the door, and any photos or documents you choose to attach. An optional email address if you give one. That is the complete list; the site sets no advertising trackers and runs no marketing pixels.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry and arrange the work you asked about. Your description of the fault travels with the job so the person at your door knows what you reported. Nothing you send is used to build a marketing list, and you will not start receiving a newsletter because you asked about a spring.
Who sees it
The people arranging and doing the work. We may share your enquiry with a suitable local provider to service your request; that is the practical shape of getting a technician to your door. We do not sell enquiry details, and we do not pass them to anyone unconnected with your job.
Keeping the form clean
The enquiry form carries a quiet defence against automated junk: a hidden trap field that only scripts fill in. It builds no advertising profile and collects nothing beyond what that check needs. We may add Cloudflare's Turnstile, a request check that confirms a submission came from a person and inspects the request rather than you, as the form goes into full service.
Attachments
Photos and documents you attach are stored securely while the enquiry is being handled and are automatically deleted from storage after 30 days. Send photos of the door, not of anything you would rather not have in a job file.
How long we keep it
As long as the enquiry and any resulting work reasonably needs, and no longer than that has a use. If you would like your details removed sooner, say so through the enquiry form and it will be done.
Questions
Anything unclear, ask through the form. Privacy questions get read and answered like any other enquiry.
